I refuse to eat at any restaurant that charges you extra money to pay with a credit card. If you want to pay with a credit card it’s an extra 25cent service charge. It’s not about the money, but more about the principle of it. I am not going to ... foot the bill for your cost of doing business. You might as well start charging people an extra 2% on their bill for electricity. I will never go back and eat here, they are losing customers over 25cents. Read more

Called in an order for pickup shortly after opening and it was ready fairly quickly! I had their Chicken Fried Rice. I found it very tasty, seasoned and cooked well. The chicken thigh pieces were small but plentiful (aside from one cartilage that was inedible). The cooked and fried green ... onions offered a nice complimentary flavour. It was fairly simple, but executed well. Service was friendly and I was offered tea/water while I waited for my order. It came with a fortune cookie as well. They were transparent that payment made on a credit card would be charged a $0.25 fee, so debit is the best method to pay if you want to avoid that fee. I didn't know this when I ordered, but they have signage at their front counter. My rice came to $18.90 including tax, so it was an expensive lunch. However, I did really enjoy it. Generous with the toppings but I'm not impressed with the flavour of the satay unfortunately. I would love more complexity to the broth. I was happy that I ordered extra toppings and didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of, I felt like the amount I got was definitely ... worth what I paid. Another small complaint, I ordered takeout and the way they bagged it wasnt ideal. They packed the hot broth with my salad rolls directly on top and then my soup toppings above the rolls, which resulted in me eating hot salad rolls. Ideally I think it makes sense to put my soup toppings on top of the hot broth because they are going to be mixed together as soon as it shows up, but the salad rolls are not meant to be hot at any point. They serve real, fresh squeezed orange juice here which is refreshing and delicious. Otherwise, they have a very basic Vietnamese menu with the usuals. The pho broth is nice in that it’s not too salty but it’s also lighter in flavour. They open until 2am so it’s good for late ... night eating. The meat in the pho was average. Delicious food! One of the best around this area. The portions were impressive. Miust try the chef’s special chilli oil. All ingredients are fresh. I forgot the name, but there was a dry Cambiodian/Vietnamese noodles that was superb! Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back to try other dishes.
