TL:DR the food is already prepared, they bring it out to you in less than 5 minutes, noodles did not have a soulful taste, overall mediocre. The noodles were scary. As the waiters were approaching me, they tripped a little and gave me a mini heart attack. That's because the hot ... rock soup was literally smoking hot. They even warned you before eating it. It was not off to a good start. Dining environment is okay, better if you can see the street. The noodles looked fantastic, however the flavor was on the surface and not inside the soup. First time dining at MeetRice! Had their Special Combo for One (original chicken soup with pork). It came piping hot and took a while to cool down enough to consume. The soup itself came with vegetables and a quail egg, which made for a hearty meal. The meat was tender ... and not overcooked or dry despite its length of time sitting in the broth! It also came with Chinese donuts (fried donuts) and a bottled ice tea. Others in our group had the Mixed Rice Noodle with smoked duck breast, which tasted more like smoked ham. We also shared the Cold Dish Sampler (vinegar marinated okra, vinegar marinated fungus, and marinated chicken gizzard). Good starter and palate refresher. Meetrice Noodles offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with a simple yet distinctive decor. The diverse menu, especially the rich and flavorful "Crossing the Bridge" noodles, is truly delicious. The staff is friendly and provides prompt service. Overall, Monziyuan is a great place for a satisfying dining experience.

Dinner for two. Severs are attentive. Interior is bright and clean. Rice noodle shop provide many different type of soup base. From beef broth, pork bone broth, lamb broth, sour soup base, spicy and sour, tomato and more. Also long list of topping for add on. Rice noodle comes in a ... heated cray pot which keeps the soup warm for the entire meal. Hunger MEET noodle soups… There really is something about this place that keeps me coming back. For sure it’s not the service or the vibe… maybe because I just have a thing for HOT soups? Whatever the reason is, I have been back here about a dozen of times now in ... the last year or so? And honestly I seldom repeat a place more than a couple of times unless it’s overall really that good. Anyways here were the noodle soups I ordered; 1. Champion pork bone broth rice noodle soup. The soup came extremely hot and it stayed hot throughout most of duration of the dining experience because of the pot it came in, therefore be careful. As for the ingredients, they all came with the basics; spam, spinach, fish tofu, quail egg, pickled veggies, choice of meat (beef, chicken, lamb, pork), tofu skin, corn, fungus. I added a fried egg on top. As for the pork bone broth, it was tasty! 2. Fish maw and chicken broth noodle soup. Everything was the same, just different broth. The broth itself was okay but I personally preferred the pork bone broth more. Overall the atmosphere here was pretty casual. It kind of reminded me for a second that I was in northern China enjoying a hot bowl of noodle soup during the cold season. (yeah another trip to China is long overdue). The service was pretty basic but quite friendly. There is a self serve little counter closer to the back for extra condiments if needed (a lot of people don’t know that). As for the food, the soups were always hot and tasty. The portion was quite generous and surely more than enough to get most people full, if not, ask for a free refill on the noodles.
