Asked a simple question about when the egg tarts would come out and was rudely told, "we have everything" before she walked away. If it weren't for the quick intervention/assistance from another staff member I would have left without purchasing anything. BTW the egg tarts were nice. A family member came here to buy a birthday cake. Surprisingly they wrote happy birthday on the cake. The cake was average. A typical Asian cake with semi fresh fruit. A couple of pieces of fruit tasted mushy. I have no idea how much it was. It was a last ... minute purchase. I’ve had better cake elsewhere. This is an average bakery…typical Hong Kong style bakery. The store is self serve for the buns. Buns are pre-packaged so it’s more hygienic. When I was there on a Sunday afternoon the shop was pretty quiet. There is a large variety of buns available. ... Ambient lighting was good and not overly bright or dim. At first I was so excited that there was a new bakery that sells cheaper items. Then I realized it was The Boss brand. My heart dropped. They're infamous for having extremely overpriced items. The price was really good! Until I found why. The quality isn't very good and someone even ... said they found eggshells in their pastry! When I cut the pastry, I was shocked to find out that 90% was just bread. The filling was only 10% of the whole pastry. Now I know why it's so cheap here. They rip you off! The worst part is that all the staff here have attitude. As in BAD attitude. They are extremely rude and don't even have comment courtesy. I miss the bakery that was here before.
