Pork bone 🦴 soup is a must. It goes with rice sooo well and it has plenty of veggies and other ingredients. Pork knuckle came with lettuce, garlic, and green peppers which you can swap them up and enjoy the combo. These two are highly recommended, and will try out more dishes next ... time! Read more
Ordered kimchi noodle soup wich was $9.99 at happy hour. When it was served, the smell and presentation were horrible. Tried to tell the waitresses but they never came to our table nor attentive. Not going back again.
This place is open late. We went in at almost 9 pm in the evening and when we left around 11 pm, it was even busier. It’s located on the upper floor of the plaza is right on the corner with the street. You can get the server’s attention by a ... button on the side of your table. We ordered the padak chicken which is Korean fried chicken with a heaping pile of green onion on top ($36.99) and the tofu soup which we changed to large ($19.99 + $7.00). We also ordered a bowl of rice wine ($5.99). We were given a complimentary big plate portioned by 4 of different types of Korean side dishes and a small bowl of sliced cabbage with a dressing. Overall, food was good and came out really quickly. They were generous with the soft tofu in the tofu soup dish. And the padak chicken came with a big pile of green onion which was seasoned nicely. It was a bit pricy for two dishes and a rice wine which added up to $74.07 with tax. Atmosphere isn’t the best as the restaurant looked a bit old and the floor wasn’t super clean. Service was ok, and the server didn’t really check up on you unless you pressed the table button. Lots of parking as the restaurant is located in a big plaza; however, parking lot can be busy at times. Read more
The daeji gukbap is definitely the best thing to order from here. It was absolutely delicious even for people who aren't familiar with Korean food. It was very filling and side dishes were delicious 👍. The soup has a deep bone broth flavour to it and is not strong because ... you are meant to season your own bowl to taste. Seasonings are provided in a cute container and it was so good we made plans to come here again! Furniture is a bit old and our chair wobbled a bit, but it wasn't an inconvenience. Read more
Really enjoyed the food here. The special pork bone soup is one of the top 2 I had in greater vancouver. The portion was generous. 3 of us spent a total of 120 before tax, and we don't need to cook tomorrow :)
