I recently visited Kelly's Bake Shoppe in Burlington, and I can't say enough good things about this place! As a vegan shop, they offer an incredible range of delicious treats. I had the pleasure of trying their café lattes with oat milk and the matcha bar, and both were absolutely ... delightful. The lattes were perfectly crafted and flavorful, and the matcha bar was a unique and tasty treat. The ambiance at Kelly's is fantastic—cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing coffee break. I live in Sweden and I have a cousin living in Hamilton, Canada. She turned 40 and I wanted to send her a small gift. Googling, I found Kelly’s bakery in Burlington and they’re website was very easy to navigate with all information I needed so I placed an order ... and they delivered it with a beautiful hand written note from my side. We kept contact through Instagram, all went well and my cousin was happily surprised!. She enjoyed the red velvet muffins I sent her very much!. When I get the chance to visit out of town gluten & dairy free bakeries. I go all out! These were my thoughts on all my products. The Strawberry cupcake was absolutely amazing. Inside filling is sooo good and the texture of the cupcake was perfect. Morning glory was okay, I’d pass ... on it next time. I wanted something carrot cake-y which is why I was given the suggestion - it was similar, But not my personal favorite flavour. The banana chocolate chip muffin though .. OH MY GOSH! My fave item I bought for sure. Super bouncy muffin texture & the flavour is spot on. I got two cookies, sun butter chocolate chip & snickerdoodle. The texture on both cookies was solid. I would definitely get both again. The mile high brownie is classsic. Again very solid texture, not dry at all. It’s super sweet though (which should be expected given it comes with caramel sauce as well - not pictured) I’d definitely eat that with a hot tea to balance the sweetness. Overall such great products. I seriously would go back - My spouse isn’t gluten or dairy free and he felt like each product was so good he wouldn’t have known it’s allergen friendly. — Went back for a second visit. Everything is still just as delicious ! Got the banana cream pie cupcake - it taste VERY much like that which sent me for a huge throwback as it’s been ages since I’ve been able to eat that. Also tried their lemon blueberry cookie … omgoooosh I wish I ordered 6 of those on their own. SO dang good - it’s probably my favorite cookie I’ve tried.
