The salt and pepper shrimps were a bit disappointing because they used small shrimps and they were kinda "floury" as if the flour wasn't cooked enough ? My first visiting I will recommend this restaurant I will be going back but I will place my order on the phone first before going to pick up next time.This is a hidden gem in the heart of Brossard I never imagined a restaurant in Quebec would give such a ... large portion of food, they literally fed my family of five people and we are full after eating the food. The images are after we ate and that’s the leftover food wow, not only that I would rate the overall meal a solid 9 out of 10, the wait time was long like 30 min but wasn’t a problem because they prepared the food fresh and you can see the process of them cooking it’s an open kitchen, the price was just right for this entire meal make sure you bring cash an inconvenience I would say, the male concierge was nice. HUGE PORTIONS Humble little Chinese place. Only takes cash (so you know it’s legit). Quiet and clean, Golden bowl is known for their General Tao’s chicken. I also got an order of chow mein. There’s a good amount of spice in the chow mein and I quite enjoyed it. General Tao ... was good, quite sweet with the sauce. Also comes with a large serving of rice. Great place, it took over 30 minutes to receive my $79 take out meal… and at a certain point, like well after 30 minutes, you are sitting waiting and thinking “at this price the food better be really good…” I can honestly say it WAS worth the wait. The food was ... plentiful and delicious. Actually replace plentiful with WAY TOO MUCH! See photos… It’s not a bad thing, but when you order you have to assume that every item ordered is for 2-3 people. Other than that there are way too many rude and self important customers walking in there, giving a hard time to the staff and what have you. Just look at the food prepared table and understand that Sunday evenings are pretty busy, and use your brains before you start giving the staff a hard time. Been to this place so many times over the span of 20 or so years and it is hands down the best!!! The portions and price are amazing. We ordered 3 mains for our family of 4 and I honestly have enough food for another meal.. or two! The staff ... has been the same for years and they are very friendly. You gotta try it! Read more
