By far, my favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to & hands down will be the best restaurant you’ll ever go to. The food is exquisite, the service is on par every time, and the owner Chris tops the whole experience! You will never find a better restaurant that has tastier ... food than Cafe Andreou. We have been visiting this restaurant for over 6 years and every meal is always exceptional. I just had a special dish on the menu, mushroom soup. Outstanding service, exquisite cuisine and a warm ambiance. Ignore the few overly sensitive complainers that obviously get “triggered” far too easy. The owner is a gracious man that takes pride in his family business.

We had: Appetizer: Grilled octopus - perfect grilled octopus with spices and onions, potatoes and a red wine vinaigrette was very tasty and a do over. Antipasto - artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, grilled pepper, prosciutto, Asiago cheese, pickled peppers and capers with a balsamic glaze. Very typical Italian dish Main Course: Veal Chop - ... nicely grilled 16oz chop with veal reduction. A delectable dish! Osso Bucco - dinner special; slow cooked lamb in a tomato sauce over soft, creamy risotto. A spectacular dish! Dessert: Lemoncello Tiramisu - lady fingers soaked in Lemoncello with mascarpone cheese. A nice light dessert Walnut cake - a Greek style walnut cake with honey sauce Servers were very attentive and polite. Wonderful experience. As we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by the owner. We chatted for a minute as he took our coats and took us to our seats all the while joking and asking us about ourselves. The food was delicious. We started out with a fresh and tasty salad, ... followed by our entrees and ended with a memorable dessert. The wine selection is extensive and you won't have any trouble finding something you'd love, as we did. The waiter throughout the whole experience was knowledgeable, friendly, always had a smile on his face, and I believe he was also the son of the owner. You could tell that they were all passionate about what they did and it made the whole experience that much better. Seeing as I have just recently moved to Brantford, I was hoping to find a place I could take loved ones knowing that I'll have a great experience.
