Wimpy’s Diner - Brantford, Ontario

Love the senior's menu. Best deal in town. Service was excellent, even though there was only one server. Coffee needs an upgrade or a new pot put on, not sure which. And you can get decaf tea here.

I recently visited Wimpy’s Diner for a family brunch. While the overall environment was generally clean, we did encounter a few issues. The service was somewhat slow, requiring us to flag down the server for assistance when we needed something. We were not provided utensils and paper towels until we ... specifically requested them. Essentially, we had to ask for everything we needed. Despite these minor setbacks, the food was good. However, I was not entirely pleased to find a brown speck of unknown origin in my ice water. I eat here often. The breakfast is great and I have also enjoyed some very good lunches and dinners. All in all the food and the service is first rate. The waitress is very nice, the restaurant is clean. The portion sizes are huge.

we came in for brunch, the restaurant was almost empty, other than my table and one other table. We waited about 10 minutes for our order to be taken, our server was overall polite, but not the most attentive. our drinks came in dirty glasses, with dried milk in one, ... and lip prints on the other. when our food came out, our server dropped our toast, and we were not offered a replacement. we did enjoy our meal, but after waited almost 20 minutes for our bill while our server chatted with the one other table in the restaurant after they had already paid.
