Italian Garden Restaurant - Brampton, Ontario

Been coming here for probably close to 15 years now, was my favourite spot when I was a kid and it still is. Always getting the veal sandwich best thing there imo, everything on the menu is madddd baller tho, staff is legendary and the best people. Love this spot!

Been going here forever and usually the food is decent but today I ordered from Door Dash and the food was awful. Lasagna tasted like it was 2 days old and the veal sandwich was cold and chewy and not very tasty. I mean serving day old food is not cool ... especially if you can’t fool people into thinking it’s fresh also. I don’t even mind left overs just make sure it’s good leftovers. Wonderful people, very very friendly kind hearted hard working. The food is absolutely delicious!!! I support this place 100%. The veal sandwich is huge, there was plenty of meat and sauce..very filling.

The service was great. Nice to know there are still family owned and run businesses. I had the chicken cutlet sandwich. I didn't find it had a lot of flavor but otherwise good. Good price for lunch. $12 for sandwich and side.

I was undecided as to what to grab for lunch. It was either Chungs Caribbean Cuisine or Italian Garden. I decided to try Italian Garden because the cuisine is healthier. Yes, I must pay attention to those " pandemic" pounds creeping up on me. Once again, this a local mom & ... pop restaurant business. I like to support the hard working people at these businesses. The service was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. This was my first visit. Plenty of parking in the mall. Strict COVID measures are in place. I arrived just past 11:00AM. I chose to go with a large penne pasta with Rose sauce and one arancini (Beef) rice ball and my total came out to $20.50 after taxes. The food was packaged very well. The pasta was overcooked, I do prefer al dente for the texture. But the Rose sauce was quite lovely and not too acidic.They added parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top which was quite nice and refreshing. I would prefer perhaps less sauce in my order because the container was about 35-40% sauce. I would have liked to have a bit more pasta for a large order considering that the price paid was north of $10.00. But it is not a big deal for me because I did enjoy the pasta. The arancini was okay. It was not bad really. I decided to have sauce with it, so I knew that I have sacrificed that crunch for a bit of sauce.
