Went there for dinner before going to the Rose Theatre. It was so quaint and the service was exceptional and they have this amazing preset menu for $22 if you’re going to the Rose and it was fantastic. Loved their calamari and their veal scaloppine. wonderful!! I came for dinner this week with a few friends and everyone enjoyed their meals, not a single complaint. i highly recommend the braised Ontario lamb sirloin with mashed potatoes and the Maryland crab cakes or apple salad as an appetizer... was absolutely amazing. i also snuck a few ... bites of a mignon entree with lobster tail and I will definitely be looking for it next time I'm back. What an amazing experience at Cantina Fellini. We had such excellent service and had the most delicious food. We celebrated my friend's birthday there this past Saturday and everything was exceptional. One of the best dining experiences of my life. Would recommend to anyone! This is the first review I've ever written but feel compelled to share our very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this place particularly if you are going to the theatre afterwards. We chose this restaurant based on other reviews and proximity to the Rose Theatre. We arrived ... over two hours before the show and were told that we had better order immediately or we wouldn't get served in time to make the show. In fact a couple that arrived a few minutes after us had to leave because the waiter told them that they likely wouldn't get their food on time. They were seated 1 hour and 45 minutes before the show and couldn't be sure of getting served??? The place was half full! They had only one waiter on who also served as the bartender. We had to flag him down to get his attention whenever we needed anything. The food was just okay except for the ceasar salad which was awful and wasn't eaten. The waiter didn't seem to care and told us to take it up with the owner. I happened to see the owner/chef as we were walking out and mentioned it to him and he likewise seemed disinterested and sloughed us off. In summary- poor service and mediocre food and certainly not a place to go before the theatre. Read more

Don't waste your time or money. Food was overpriced, rather tasteless and swimming in oil/butter. The waitress was pleasant but the overall service was STUNNINGLY slow. Allowed ourselves 2 hours before a show at the Rose Theatre and we were still late for its start. Looked into the kitchen on ... the way out and there was one person cooking. Really?
