Mackay Pizza & Submarines - Brampton, Ontario

Yesterday, (May 18th) about an hour before closing, my sister asked me to pickup her pizza for her. A pizza that I wasn't going to be eating. Upon pickup I said her name and asked if it was already paid for to ensure that I wasn't paying them for something ... that was already paid for. Self explanatory. A lady making sandwiches comes over, looks at the reciept then proceeds to look at me and say to me in a disgusting manner, "No it's not paid for". I asked her why she had to respond to me that way and she said it's because all day women have been paying for their boyfriend's pizza. I entertained her nonsense and told her that it's my sister's pizza and she went "eh". This is the exact kind of service that makes a business lose customers. I wasn't bothering anyone and didn't deserve that kind of attitude pointed at me. All she needed to do was mind her business and focus on the sandwich she was making because her assumptions, judgement, and attitude won't get her or this business anywhere. Really good pizza, can be hit or miss at times depending on who is making it I guess , 1 of a few places left in this area that still makes a real traditional style pizza and not like all the generic places that have popped up and use ... the cheapest ingredients they can find . Read more

My friend from Brampton told me about this place a while back. He told me about this place before the new management so I wouldn’t know how good it was before then. But my experience going here for the first time wasn’t pleasant. The patty was a bit salty and ... nothing to write home about. The pizza was very disappointing as it looked great on the outside but the dough was soggy on the bottom which made the pizza taste bad. Had high expectations for this one and it failed to meet them unfortunately. Other Pizza places around for much cheaper and better quality. Read more

They have my absolute favourite food item in existence. Anytime I’m in Brampton I’ll come here to get a Mackay Pattie!! Sometimes I’ll make a detour just to grab a pack of 10. Not sure what it is about the Pattie’s but they’re the best. If anyone from the store ... is reading this, you guys are my favourite restaurant of all time. Quick good food stuffed beef pastors are a must try, 3 people well fed for $38!(taxes in) 3 Patties, small veggie pizza 2 dipping sauces and 3 pop. Guys that work there are quick and helpful. No frills place pick up and eat.
