I was craving some good Indian food and a client of mine recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. As soon as we walked in, I noticed the beautiful decor and people happy enjoying their food, this is always a plus. We got greeted by the lovely waitress with a ... big smile. I could tell right away it was good as I saw at least 25 people only coming for take out in just 1 hour. Plus more people dining in. Our waitress was the only one working at the front and I admire how pleasant and her multitasking skills serving everyone and cleaning up. She answered all our questions in regards the food and made some recommendations. We had the masala peanut salad and wow I was blown away on how savoury it was. The balance of the spices and onions with cilantro brought this warm and comfort I never knew I needed. We had piña colada mocktails, I wouldn’t say it was the best but it was still good. We had also Chef Special Bagar’s chicken curry which was the perfect balance of spice, buttery flavour with plenty of chicken. Our garlic naan taste home made and was not overly done with butter and my personal favourite Chicken 65 Biryani which was just chef’s kiss. I was able to request boiled eggs as add on to my biryani. I couldn’t rave more of not only the service but the food. The food portions were also pretty big, that I was able to bring some for home and had it this morning for breakfast. I will definitely be back! Service 5 stars Food 5 stars Ambiance 5 stars Mocktails 3 1/2 stars Read more
Visited on 6th October 2023. We had the worst food experience at this restaurant; the food was just untasty and far below par! As a group of 4, we had ordered Gobi Manchurian, 2 chicken Biryani, 1 goat biryani and 1 noodles/chowmin. The biryanis were terribles and tasted like pulau and chicken ... made by some amateur at home with no Biryani flavor, smell or taste; the 65 biryani is the worst thing I have ever tried - the concept did not even make senes, it should not exist! The noodles were poorly prepared and had no flavor to it; it tasted like something a 14 year old attempted to make at home and failed. The only thing I liked about the place was the Gujrati girl who took our orders and served us; she was patient and professional. Read more
I have ordered takeout a few times before and I tried the place for dine-in for the first time yesterday. The service was prompt and the food was fine. I think that the butter chicken was too sweet but some of my company enjoyed it nevertheless. The place excels at South ... Indian food and I liked those dishes. The South Indian starters are the best dishes here and the biryani is a close second. Read more
First of all, they advertise the restaurant as Nizam and Hyderbadiinspired food, but I food says otherwise. The restaurant that specializes in biryani didn't carry any dum biryani and infact more than half of the items in the where not available to order, that's includes house special Premium dum biryani's. After going ... to fro with the staff regarding the menu, we ordered Paya soup, chicken 65, Rayalseema Chilli Fish fry, lamb biryani, chicken 65 biryani. Paya soup was the worst i have ever tasted, couldn't even take a spoon full, chicken 65 was very bland, chili fish fry was okay but they used unecesary red food dye, Biryani were ozing oil and lacking flavor. Overall experience was unpleasant. Taste was below average and wouldn't recommend to anyone who wants to eat authentic hyderbadi style biryani. Read more
I used to come here often. Took a break for a few weeks and came back today. They've printed new stylish menu cards for the same items, but there was a sizeable drop in portion sizes. (Noticeably small portions compared to last time.) Food quality is still decent. However not worth the ... trip when compared to other restaurants in Brampton area. Edit: As I was finishing off, they also tried to slip in an 18% gratuity on my bill. I had a party of four adults and three toddlers. Nor was there any mention of gratuity on the menu or the premises. Don't know why/how there was a gratuity charge. Finally they took it off the bill when I pointed it out to them. Read more
