Portland Jerk's warm welcome couldn't mask the disappointment that unfolded on my plate. While the jerk chicken boasted freshness, it lacked the robust, fiery flavors I craved. Instead, it resembled a simple oven-grilled chicken devoid of the signature spices that define this beloved dish. The accompanying rice, sadly, tasted either ... leftover or overcooked, further diminishing the meal's appeal. Even the chicken gravy sauce, a potential saving grace, fell flat with its thin consistency and lack of zest. Paying $20 for this experience, especially after reading glowing reviews, felt like a significant letdown. To add insult to injury, the washroom was out of service, leaving a final sour note on an already disappointing visit. NO WIFI. The lady in there is very rude I would deduct stars but the guy in there helped me out and is very awesome so I won’t. I love their food. I usually go there for the Tuesday special every Tuesday. They want to charge you for extra hot ... sauce now and they also raise the price of the Tuesday special $6.50 after taxes which I’m okay with. Cost of living! Lots of variety of food and drinks! Food was decent. Jerk Chicken could have been a little spicier with a little more heat and flavour. Overall portion size adequate. It’s basically a fast food restaurant so not much for atmosphere. Still decent value and overall quality good. I recommend you try it and write your own review.

I was in the car, however hubby gives rave reviews especially about the Jerk pork. Very well seasoned and very moist. We had it again since Friday.
