The manager is the worst( Jamacian/mixed lady named Keisha Phillps and her husband Bowan. Worst place to work. They're racist. I knew someone who used to work there and infront of that person the manager and her husband sat down looking at resumes and they would ignore resumes uploaded ... by indian people. The manager is not a professional, she blames her employees for her sale losses and accuses them for eating food from the store & stealing money. She wouldn't install cameras because she "trust her employees". Also right infront of some customers, the managers husband (please excuse my language) grabbed her "butt" and the manager was giggling away. The manager has employees who cannot speak proper english or take correct orders therefore resulting in them to make wrong orders. The customers then come back demanding for a refund and the manager said "at a resturant when you order food you can't simply give back the food and say oh I didn't like it". No offense but what kind of professional is that. Anyways, employees here at Country style are treated like slaves. Its not even worth working for. The end shifts are the worst, sometimes there are donuts left over and they give them free to the customers they feel they should give to. Now you have customers complaining why you gave him free donuts and not me. The manager also favourites employees. Meaning if you can "pick up her kids from school or drop them off" you'd get more shifts. The manager talks bad about her employees to her others example she told another employee to chose her friends carefully at work. What do you mean by carefully and friends? Are the other employees criminals. This is a workplace not a social media site or your home where you can pretend to "mother" favourited employees of your decent. When all these problems were mentioned to head office, you know what they did. They said its not our problem and that its the managers issue to deal with her employees. With that attitude unfortunately Country Style has lost many wonderful employees and will continue to decrease. I don't understand why they can not get proper management. If you want to lower your self confidence and be targeted or bullied, country style is the place for you! Its so sad how an amazing store with amazing products can be managed by such poor uneducated people. Might as well buy your subs from subway cross the street or grab your coffes and ice caps from the timmies at the next intersection. Hopefully head office will start to realize why bussniess is so slow. Please I strongly advise you do not work at country style and nor eat here as they do not deserves your visitations. Thank you.
