Coffee Culture - Brampton, Ontario

Most staff are super great, and really care about their customers. it has a great environment and the drinks and food there is amazing.

Sunday afternoon. Party of three who want to eat. Dirty tables, no menus to use while seated. A short lineup at the counter, kept lined up because the one sulky clerk on shift shuffled around in no particular hurry to make a couple of teas ... she could barely open ... the packages or fill the cups because of her nail extensions. This was a complete change from the experience of a year ago (we are visitors from away). We left without ordering anything. We will never come back. Depending on who is working here, I get a different experience. If I am basing this review on food alone, this place will get 1 or 2 stars. The cold drinks are horrible and the hot drinks are a hit and miss (save for the organic numi teas which ... is always yummy). The soup I order is always cold or lukewarm. The cakes and pastry on display are a hit and miss. Definitely don't get the red velvet muffin, it was sickeningly sweet. For cafe food, they are really lacking and I rather get my drinks at starbucks across the street than here. There is a lovely young man and young woman who work here who are always pleasant and nice to me. They are patient and really friendly. The older women and sometimes this older man are rude and condescending. They always looked angry at serving me and never asked whether I wanted it in a mug or to-go. They forgot about my latte this one time when I ordered a sandwich though thankfully did make it for me after I complained I never received it. Pretty chill atmosphere. Only 2 outlets so not a good place if you're going to study there all day on a laptop. The washrooms for women are a hit and miss. Sometimes it's clean and sometimes it's really really disgusting. I only use it when I really need to. The wifi is awesome though and unlike starbucks, it's a larger space so that is why this Coffee Culture gets a 3 star overall. Read more

DISGUSTING!!! I would give "no star" rating if I could. Used to frequent this shop few years ago and went in for coffee this morning. Worked on laptop for 20 minutes and went into the men's room. I was shocked. It was absolutely disgusting and filthy dirty for 10 am in ... morning. Trash overflowing and all over floor, toilet was filthy and did not flush. The walls look like they have never been cleaned. Never seen a dirtier restroom ever. I could not imagine eating here!! I went back, threw my coffee in the trash and left. Looking around the shop I noticed the people sitting there were actually sketchy ... not that I have any problem being around them. We all have a right to enjoy a coffee shop. Just implying ... the power of attraction. This used to be a bustling, top shelf, clean and pleasant shop to hang out in. Owners - wake up. Reviews are everything and your business is dead. So I give this place 4 stars becauae USUALLY my visit there is good. I always get a hot chocolate and love their muffins and cheese cake. BUT today I was upset with the service I got. I walk in and there was one lady on break another lady I ... guess was in the back because ahe didnt come out until my order was done. And so that leaves the one lady behind the counter. So this lady behind the counter sees me walk in....makes direct eye contact with me but is busy texting or just on her phone. Instead of putting down her phone to come help me she continues on her phone. Now I understand when its not busy people go on their phone, I have no problem with that BUT once she saw me coming she should have put down her phone instead of have me wait.... 😒. I just hope the next time I decided to pop in this doesnt happen again. Read more
