Denny’s - Brampton, Ontario

The service was good, the food was okay and it came quickly. My only issue was with the Lemon and White Chocolate cheesecake. I ordered a piece to go for $8.39(iirc). When I got it I was pretty disappointed. The sliver of a slice barely took up ... half of the container it came in. I wonder if that's why they brought it out after we paid our bill lol. Took a bit long for our server to get to us or greet us, and as we walked in so many tables need to be cleared/wiped but the servers and I assume managers/supervisors were just chatting, this was at almost 4pm too. Our food probably took close to 30 min ... to come out but I know for sure it was over 20. Usually thats fine but it was just pasta and an omelette. The girl is the back was hustling so I respect that but FOH wasn’t. The server never checked on us to see if our food was okay and brought us our bill before even clearing the plates lol. The food was pretty yummy, my dad said the omelette was okay but I liked the pasta. Had an artificial taste but I don’t expect more from a chain restaurant. Always a great meal and great service! There is one thing you need to watch out for... Make sure your bill is accurate, not only at this Denny's but others, they tend to charge for beverages you don't receive... My friend got water and I got apple juice, but we were ... charged for 2 Juices... The Server refunded me with the comment "wow, that's expensive"... $5.40 with tax for a Juice!?! Read more

To be transparent I’m not a huge breakfast person, but on an early weekday morning I was looking to kill some time and found Denny’s was the only thing open. I popped in with low expectations consider it was 7AM, but let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! It was quiet ... and the waitress was so kind and upbeat, she helped me start off my day in a good mood! And the Strawberry Crepes were PHENOMENAL, very sweet and delicious! The service has not changed at all if anything getting worse. I actually end up going to the Vaughan location which is further away just for better service but today we decided to just come here out of convenience and we were welcomed instantly with poor service. The ... host basically walked quickly away from us and then signalled for us to follow we didn’t even notice that they placed our menus down indicating our seat. Then 15 minutes later a server came right when we were about to leave and go elsewhere. Then for my tea I was given like warm water, the bananas were bruised some I was able to cut off the bruised area, eggs were not cook to request bacon was dry and over cooked.
