If I could give this restaurant more stars I would. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Such a relaxing and cozy ambience. Service was wonderful. And the food was incredible. 10/10. I recommend the New York strip loin, my husband got the short rib and loved it as well.
The taste of the food is outstanding; no wonder it has survived 17 years in a tough industry! The restaurant is slightly dated and could use an update. There is a mild smell of mold as you enter and in the restrooms--perhaps a mop that hasn't dried out.
My wife selected The North Restaurant from a Google search and liked the menu. We met good friends there for dinner on a Thursday evening. Parking was available just outside. We walked in to a very friendly place greeted by the staff. We were seated right away and ordered some ... very nice wine. Our server was very polite and experienced regarding the dishes being served that evening. However, only a few of the menu items were available and other dishes were being offered. All of which sounded very good. I had the swordfish with risotto, couscous and red cabbage. Each ingredient in its own flavourful sauce. I know I stopped a couple of times to tell my wife and friends how good my meal tasted. My friend had the baked chicken with asparagus on risotto. We all left The North Restaurant pleased and satisfied. We also agreed that we would make this a good place to meet and eat. Cheers Read more

Went there for the dinner with friends. The atmosphere was amazing, very nice and polite stuff. Moreover, the food was excellent! I had pasta and it was delicious. I also tried a cheesecake and it was much better than I expected. Also shout out for serving of dishes. Would definitely come there more.
