Campbell’s British Food & Tea Room - Barrie, Ontario

My friend and I had the soup, salad and sandwich meal for lunch, as well as a pot of tea. Everything about our lunch was just perfect. Friendly wait staff, calm and pretty atmosphere. We had the carrot lentil soup, salad and ordered different sandwiches- smoked salmon with dill cream and ... egg salad sandwich. We had half of each. Both sandwiches were delicious- The bread was fresh and perfect for the sandwiches. Prices were very reasonable. We also each had a pot of peach apricot tea and really enjoyed it. This is such a lovely little place and one of Barrie’s gems. Today was my first time trying it, the food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the tea room is beautiful. I cannot wait to come back.

Had breakfast here on Saturday and went back on Sunday again. Had the vegetarian breakfast it was great! Got toast, 2 eggs, hashbrown, fried mushrooms and tomatoes plus brown beans all for only $9.95 will definitely be making this our new favorite breakfast spot. Lots of variety on the ... menu for breakfast, lunch, kids. I can't wait to get a few ladies together for high tea. My friends took me here for a surprise 70th birthday High Tea. It was excellent. Food was scrumptious. The lady who looked after us was accommodating, friendly and so very pleasant. An absolutely fabulous afternoon!!
