Druxy’s Famous Deli - Barrie, Ontario

My husband & son and I had druxys when we went to Barrie, (the 1 in hospital), it was so good. My husband & I hadn't had druxys since we were a lot younger (kids), because there isn't many around. My son had it for 1st time & loved it, ... said its his new favorite sandwhich restaurant. We wish there were more around, especially north of Toronto. We need more healthier restaurants like this, & not as much fast food restaurants. Especially during this time of covid. Healthier you eat, healthier you'll be to fight any illnesses. Read more

Got yelled at that we had to order at the other end then yelled at again to go to the other girl. There was no signs directing where to order, we only went to the till to order because we had been standing at the other end and no one ... acknowledged us and this other lady was placing her order at the till. They were very rude which is not what you need after being at the hospital. Three stars only because the food was good. Read more

I arrived at 8:10 pm to order a sandwich and take to my room (patient). The lady (Franka) working there in a very flat tone said we are about to close. I asked if there was time for me to order a sandwich. With no reply she ... turned away and stocked potato chips in a rack next to the cash register. I went to Timmies 2 doors down. Frustrated, my son went back to check the hrs of business and learned from Franka that closing time was in fact 9 pm. He then asked whay she could not have made my order for me. Her reply "if you don't like it, call my boss buddy". My son suggested that in a customer service position that she might have addressed him as Sir. Her reply "ya well I'm from Oakville". I really enjoy Druxy's sandwiches, but I will probably never darken this one's doorway again. And I will call and speak to the manager. Just sent a sandwich tray, small vegi sandwich tray, fruit tray, and a pasta salad to my sisters house. Her husband just passed and thought it would take some of the burden off when family arrives. Came here April 7 at 9:50 and was served by a bigger girl with piercings and dark hair. We ordered two bagels and she was too busy talking with the other lady to even butter them Or ask Which toppings we like. She dumped microwaved egg on top of dry bagels and ... charged me $17. The worst service and bagel ever! She was so rude! Acted like it was a burden to serve anyone! Then when I asked about butter or toppings she rudely replied back to me that I need to let her know!
