Very small portions and really crappy service!

Wonderful waitress. Disappointed in the food. Very little flavor. Not worth the price of the plate. And then to top it off . Ask for dessert they have run out of it . Not impressed.

Odd menu and not fresh

Entrees are priced from $19-$29. At this price point I would expect a superior dining experience. Unfortunately my chicken penne had so much salt in the sauce, I couldn't finish it. (I am not the complaining type - this has only happened to me once before) ... So I swapped dishes with my wife who had the seafood pasta; the pasta was mushy like it came from a chef Boy-ar-dee can. We tallied up the pieces of seafood in the dish: 3 shrimp, 2 scallops (medium size) and 3 (small) calamari rings. A paucity of protein! I feel ripped off! And for the price we paid, there was no salad! The bread was second-rate served with factory packaged pats of butter. Not all was bad: the design of the building is interesting; a converted barn or something with 4 levels. The decor is top notch. The presentation of the food is done with care and no complaints here. The wait staff does a rather perfunctory job, but I can't complain to loudly. Despite these attributes, we wont' be back. Read more

My significant other and I had our Thanksgiving (we're from the US) dinner there. What a GREAT experience. The servers and all staff are courteous, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere and ambiance are very cozy and nice. Very comfortable casual or dressed. The food was amazing. I had the Mediterranean ... salad and NY Strip medium rare with mashed and seasonal veggies. All was cooked perfectly and seasoned very nicely. My girlfriend had the Blue Cheese Wedge salad and the Lamb, rare with roasted potatoes and seasonal veggies. Same story- perfectly cooked, plated, and seasoned. The server even warned me that the olives had pits in them, to be careful. It was charming. We made reservations for a return dinner tomorrow night- our last night in Ontario, and will make reservations when we come to visit this great area again next year! Read more
