Dined in for long awaited dinner date with hubby. Server was very nice. Ordered chicken dinner. Chicken was more like dry pulled pork. Chicken gladly replaced but no change and fries very mixed sizes and some burnt. Buns like concrete unable to cut. Manager agreed and we left without paying ... except for good tip for server as it was out of her control. Come on Swiss Chalet you can do much better. Update Aoril 27th 2024 First time after our last disappointing meal we decided to give Swiss Chalet another try. Lots more on menu and staff very nice. Unfortunately the chicken was dry and had to be shredded with a fork to get any meat off. Chips burnt. Both left meal. Our server was great and got a discount on our barely touch meal. Read more
Visited this restaurant for dinner. Despite the understaffed situation, the service was exceptional. The atmosphere was a bit quiet with families scattered around. However, the food quality left much to be desired. Side of fries were more like scraps, the burger patty felt like rubber, and the green beans were cold. ... The Pepsi tasted watered down, and the sangria had minimal alcoholic content. On the positive side, the wings were tasty.Special mention to the staff who went above and beyond despite the challenges. They have some good specials, and kids will love the fun touch of a robot bringing out to-go orders. Also, appreciate the sticker-sealed to-go items. I was very happy with my choice for dinner here at Swiss Chalet.The order online before options is very convenient .Or a stop in and order take out if you're on a tight schedule for dinner. The dinner options are excellent, and I would recommend all the menu items ... to browse through as there are so many wonderful dinner options, whether it be their famous chicken or their delectable ribs .I myself opted for the chicken sandwich combo / white meat ..
