TLC Bistro & Cafe - Barrie, Ontario

This place was completely unexpected. We stopped by because we saw the sign for the cafe while driving by and decided to pop in. At first, we were surprised since we were expecting something different. Turns out, the place is really relaxed, and we had a good time just taking ... in the (musical) atmosphere. We enjoyed coffee and dessert, but would love to go back to try the other food served. We'll also need to stop by again for the live music - we missed it having gone daytime! Absolutely loved this place. Hidden gem! Amazing food and even better environment. Would highly suggest to anyone in the area.

Went here for the first time a few days ago. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and a side of potato pancakes. My sister ordered the eggs Benedict. I have to say - the food was delicious , the owner / server was great. I will say my 1 complaint is ... the food is over-priced for portion size and it's an older crowd ( I felt like I was at a seniors club and I'm 29 lol) but stepper food none-the-less. Read more

Great atmosphere. It's easy to feel like you're at home especially when its combined with good food. Larry does a great job of encouraging talent of all ages to come out to his weekly open mic and play music for his patrons. It's truly a win win for everyone.

This place is great. Lots of sandwiches and soups, amazing dealer specials. I got turkey with mashed potatoes, stuffing and carrots for $11, and it was great! Run by one man, who entertains by playing great live music. I have never been more wowed.
