Holly’s Sweets and Eats - Barrie, Ontario

OMG!!! Yea they ABSOLUTELY have a returning customer. Our family ordered a cake from Ms. Holly for Halloween to give some sense of normal for the kids and sent in a picture for inspiration. The flavour that we ordered was "Chocolate Monkey" and I was REALLY hesitate about it. But ... once we picked up the cake, she was BEAUTIFUL, and once we tried it out I was SUPER happy with the flavour. Excellent service and brillant food. We had roast beef sandwiches, which were delicious. The tomato soup was decent and had a nice touch. The dessert were fantastic. My favourite was the Cheesecake with apples and crumble. The buttertarts were different to most places and I liked it. Not my last visit!

A great little bakery with an amazing assortment of goodies. You are going to pay more here than you would at a big box grocery store bakery, but you're also going to get hand-made, from-scratch products here. Lovely place. They've got such a wide variety of desserts, including keto friendly and gluten free. I HIGHLY recommend the chocolate squares.. especially if you like nanaimo bars... they're like nanaimo bars but a billion times better. Small little shop with lots of items. Mini cheesecakes, butter tarts, meringues, breads, pies. Good variety. They even have a few seats for those who want to enjoy their sweets and food there. Welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was smiling and helpful. Really liked they sticky buns. Their cookies are just OK. Only ... thing was the last grabbed my items with get bare hands, which was weird.
