Cora Breakfast and Lunch - Barrie, Ontario

Went on a Saturday morning, and there was surprisingly no wait, although the restaurant was busy. Overall food was what was expected in quality and consistency from a Coras. The little robot was helping the delivery of food with the Service staff, and was fun to watch. I've been to many Cora locations, but without a doubt, this one is my favorite. I tried the Jessica, and I highly recommend it. The crepe was filled with chocolate and fruits, and the eggs, sausage, potatoes, and bacon were excellent. The portions were generous, leaving me feeling quite satisfied. ... The toast was buttery and soft; you could squeeze it and see the butter oozing out. I truly recommend this place and hope to have the same great experience every time I visit. My first breakfast a Cora! This place is awesome, from the warm greeting as I entered to the clean open dining room to the superb service from lovely Ann this was a great experience. I had the Jo Construction a massive plate of food with 3 sausages, 3 strips of ... bacon and 3 eggs along with potatoes and toast. What a great way to start your day! I will certainly be back. The place is not particularly special in terms of food taste, but it's always crowded with people, and there's often a long wait on weekends. When I went around 10 a.m. on Saturday, it took 10 minutes to order but 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Overall, the atmosphere ... is a bit noisy, and the prices are on the higher side. Cora is a classic breakfast place that we tend to go to when we're in the mood for something different (crepes, skillets etc.). Service is always fantastic, but we have noticed there's a bit of a wait to get in lately. The food is always top-notch, portion sizes are large, ... and the fruit is very fresh. In my opinion, the decor could use a bit of an update but can't take any points off for that. Overall a great option for breakfast in South Barrie. And the robot is super cool! Read more
