Hooligans Restaurant - Barrie, Ontario

Piss poor service, 3 hours to get food and I had to flag down the waiter twice. Buddy of mine didn’t get his food or drink within hour and a half so just went somewhere else. Wings were good tho but not worth the time sink

Tad disappointed with today’s service. Half the staff were very young with not enough restaurant experience. They were too busy competing to be behind the bar, which made them forget to get refills or ask if we needed anything. Condiment bottles were empty, she knew it and still have them ... to us. We asked for drinks when she came around and we got them after we were done the food. The cook didn’t follow any instructions as well….. overall no bueno. With the event happening today in Barrie, this is prime time to make an impact with your customers! Service should at least be a 4/5. Cold on patio but said they’d only put on heaters if loud enough group/crowd? Said they don’t have anything on tap but you can go downstairs to get it yourself? Service took forever. Unfriendly. Asked for garden salad as side and got fries. Got a Greek salad for $16. Said ... it came with naan (for some substance) and didn’t even come with it. Came here with three of my friends for dinner and drinks. We split a couple of pitchers of sangria and I ordered the baja tacos which were tasty. We got to the restaurant around 8 and we didn’t leave until 10:40. Our waitress was very friendly but not very attentive. She ... had come back to our table after we finished our food and drinks at 9:54 and told us that at 10pm drinks were going to be $3. We showed interest and asked if she would be able to come back in a couple of minutes so we could order more drinks. She didn’t come back to our table until 10:35 and that was only because my friend had waved her down. At that point we just wanted the bills and to leave. She gave us our bills and then walked away to another table to give them their bills and to let them pay despite them being sat well after we got to the restaurant. So happy to have Hooligans back! After being sold and waiting months for a liquor license, I can imagine it’s been rough for the business.
