KFC - Barrie, Ontario

We wanted to introduce our kids to KFC as we haven’t had it in many years… This might have been the worst meal that we’ve ever had from a restaurant. The chicken was so dry that the skin had a void between it and the chicken because the chicken shrivelled and ... dried out so much. The chicken itself was dry and dark as if left out all day. I remember the skin being delicious and tasty. Instead it was like chewing on tasteless membrane. Our kids actually hated it and asked why we bought it for dinner. The employees appeared unclean as well as their surroundings. The hygiene standard and employee selection has clearly deteriorated over the years. Which correlates to the quality of the food. So I returned for credit as the last time I came to this location it was super bad. The customer service manager who was nice told me it will be better. Well she was wrong staff is still rude and filled with all kinds of attitude. ... The chicken is so small why would people spend so much money on it. Went in today between 12:45 and 1 pm. Ordered two combos, a zinger, and original chicken sandwich combos. Both drinks tasted horrible. 7up tasted like it was just carbonated water, and root beer tasted nothing like rootbeer. The sandwiches have almost no lettuce. Like this KFC might have gone ... through a whole renovation, but the service and food area need the most work. Would not spend any more of my money here. Would rather go to Mary Browns. Went back after a few years. Same issue. Ordered with extra lettuce and sauce for both. i got less lettuce and less sauce for both. Is it really that hard to read instructions and make a customer happy? There was no response from the company, and there was no care for making the food. Nothing is made fresh, and everything is cold. I'm definitely spending my money on Mary Browns next time. Im done with KFC. Read more

Really horrible customer service. I was here to pick up my mobile order and they made me to come inside, instead of drive thru. They claimed that their drive thru system isn’t working properly, matter the fact I was just picking my mobile order. I asked for a reason and one ... girl said drive thru is very busy and you have to wait for long time (in very aggressive tone). Trust me there was just one car at window. I generally don't like leaving bad reviews but this place is total chaos!!! Terrible service to serve, plus everyone shouts very loudly, the chicken is laughable, it's a robbery, the preys are tiny, I'm going to upload a photo of a piece of chicken, it's the size of an egg, ... also refried foods, they only give you tomato sauce , the others charge you!!!!! customer service is terrible!!! In short, he has eaten in many KFCs in various countries and this has been the worst experience!!! I don't recommend the place at all!!! If you have the opportunity to go there, it is better to continue a little further along to Burguer King or Macdonalds. Read more
