I recently visited the Old Spaghetti Factory in Banff and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, from the fresh bread with whipped garlic butter to the perfectly cooked pasta dishes. Each dish was flavorful and satisfying. 4.5 stars Located on second floor of the mall. We ordered stir fry clam linguine, chicken Alfredo ravioli, and alfredo fettuccine. My favorite was the stir fried clam dish. While both dishes were adequately prepared, they lacked the robust flavors and creativity that would make them stand out. The penne chicken was a ... bit bland, and the spaghetti lacked the depth of seasoning I expected. Overall, the dishes were mediocre at best. On the positive side, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. They took our orders promptly and checked in on us regularly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their attentiveness definitely enhanced the dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a definite highlight. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Authentic and delicious Italian food at its best! I've never tasted such hearty pesto and shrimp spaghetti before in Canada. We also had the mango ice-cream smoothie which was amazing! Moreover, the fresh butter, garlic bread, mozzarella triangles and soup were great too. I would specifically like to mention Devlin's customer ... service. All the entrees come with soup/salad, sour dough bread and butter, and ice cream for dessert. You really cannot beat the value anywhere else. They use real Italian cheeses. The ambiance is old school and was built to last. Service was excellent. Family friendly.
