La Terrazza - Banff, Alberta

Overall good. The food was good, smaller dishes size but overall good. We Had the chicken and shrimp and scallops risotto. I recommend both of them. Bread comes but if you like more it will cost you. It's nice and comfortable seating

Was in Banff for the week. Needed a place that was open relatively late for dinner. All the restaurants were closing their kitchens earlier than they usually do because it was negative 20 outside. I was calling around until they picked up here and invited me to come in right ... before close. The place was entirely empty and there were only two bartenders. Two of the sweetest and most social people around! Greeted us in, gave us the full experience even though it was approaching after hours. Could not be happier with the service and the delicious Italian food here. Only thing I wish is that I remembered their names so I could individually recognize them. Read more

Amazing place to eat. Went for a romantic getaway and was the perfect place. The staff treated everyone with luxury. The carrot soup was incredible and the Bison Cannelloni was 10/10. Absolutely beautiful space, Italian food and top notch service. Located in Banff Park Lodge. Eloquent dining experience. We were seated at a nice quiet space which was comfortable. The menu includes good options for all. What we ordered off the spring menu: Mains- Penne Alla Vodka Lodge made fettuccine Alfredo Dessert- Limoncello torta tiramisu cheesecake Very pleased with this ... place and the price wasn’t too bad either. I rarely give five-stars but the service and the food at La Terrazza really impressed me. Our server on both nights that we dined at La Terrazza during our vacation in Banff was Ibon Quinoy. He was exceptional, which is not a small task with a family group of 9 individuals! ... Ibon took wonderful care of us and we really enjoyed his sense of humor. To make the experience even better the food was delectable. In fact the rosellini al funghi was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten on the North American continent. Others raved about their bison cannelloni especially, but all the dishes were scrumptious. The restaurant is rather small, so reservations are recommended. Prices were not out of line with my expectations considering the quality of the food and service in a tourist heavy location. The menu changes with the seasons. Read more
