One of the best dinning experiences I have had. From the moment we valeted our car until the end where they gave us a signed card by all our servers and an extra dessert, it was a truly amazing dinning experience. While the view is astonishing, the attention to detail, ... tasty dishes and positive and friendly attitude of the team, the experience did not disappoint. My partner and I both did the 4 course each instead of the 7 course which basically covered all the options. In a word, E X T R A O R D I N A R Y. ! ! ! When Michelin eventually includes Alberta in its Guide, this should get 2 stars. The food, the service , and the view were all exceptional. We recently dined at a Michelin 3 ... star, The Inn at Little Washington, and this dinner matched it in quality and service. A year ago we dined at a different 3 star, also at a hotel in the mountains, Memories, in Bad Ragaz. Eden is equivalent. We did not do the wine pairing, but enjoyed watching other tables receive a wonderful show from the sommelier for each wine. Eden is the holy grail of restaurants and the gem of the Rockies. Everything, and I do mean, EVERYTHING, is top notch. The ambience, the service, and, of course, the FOOD! Every single bite was an explosion on our tastebuds…the complexity of flavors that somehow fight for attention ... while complimenting each other. Bravo, Eden! Bravo! Thank you for providing us with arguably the best meal of our lives. We are committed foodies who seek out Michelin star restaurants all over the world. We are willing to pay top dollar for experiences like this. Absolutely superb service from the entire team. If you're considering this place but worried about the prices, I would definitely say that this is an investment. Save this place for a very special occasion and invest in the experience. You will be spending about $600+ CAD for two people for the 4-course dinner and the wine pairing. ... We had sticker shock, but ultimately, I am glad that we did it and I do believe it is worth it. This is fine dining to the absolute highest degree. This is by far probably the best meal, service, ambiance, and experience that I have ever had. We did the four-courses with the wine pairing. There is a sommelier that personally comes to your table as well as a server, host, etc. People are checking in on you often, and they do the absolute most. Incredible service and food from what is arguably the best restaurant in Banff. Every course felt intentional and nothing ever felt like the chef was just throwing in expensive ingredients to make it fancy. Even the little parts had great care put into it. I cannot exaggerate how life changing ... their focaccia was. (Not to mention the server kept sliding us refills) We celebrated an anniversary and they gifted a cake with a chocolate plaque congratulating us. The staff was incredibly attentive and we never had dirty cutlery or empty glasses. They were also kind enough to provide a shuttle back to our hotel and give a parting gift of pumpkin bread. We went in during the off season for the fauna menu so it wasn't hard to get a reservation and there weren't too many other guests. Sadly, since the sun sets so early, there's not really much of a view in the winter but I'm sure in summer it's incredible. Read more
