Cows - Banff, Alberta

Always a great time at Cows. We went with the Mooyork Cheesecake this time around and it was perfect for the hot weather. Staff were friendly and the line went by fast. I would recommend getting 2 scoops along with a cone to feel extra satisfied.

Best ice cream! It’s always so busy but totally worth it! I got the brownie explosion and cookie dough with a sprinkle cone. My absolute favorite!

We found people lined up for Hardy's meal at the restaurant upstairs. At that time, I suddenly remembered the ice cream that my friend who recently went to Banf mentioned. After eating and eating dessert, we joined the line. Oh my God. It was already 9:20pm, but the line continued ... to lengthen well past the closing time. Luckily, our stomach was full enough, and after waiting, we came out with ice cream one by one... Was it too much expectation? The coffee tasted light and delicious. Visited on a Tuesday afternoon and the queue was short. Variety of flavours available. Tried the nanaimoo bar and it was a tasty combination of custard and chocolate.

We had the bubble gum, white chocolate/raspberry and the peanut butter cup ice cream and have to say that I did not enjoy the white chocolate/ raspberry at all as it seemed like it had ice crystals in it so the texture was off as well as the flavour and ... the waffle cone was extremely hard. I would have liked the option to try more then one taster as I would have known not to chose the one I did. I love ice cream but don’t think that I will try it here again. Read more
