Whitebark Cafe - Banff, Alberta

I enjoyed the large sunny terrace a lot. They have good cold-pressed juices, decaf coffee and nice cakes.

Awesome spot to have a coffee and a bite in the morning. Sit outside in the summer and people watch as the tourists shuffle around. Be warned, this place can get very busy but the line moves at a good pace. The egg bites were very good and the chutney ... was A+. the sausage roll caught my eye but didn’t try it. One of the highlights of staying in the Banff Aspen Lodge was getting a free coffee from Whitebark. We ended up buying the espresso beans for home, because we liked it so much (and because you get a free coffee if you buy beans…I like freebies!) Bit of a wait, but ... well worth it, in my opinion. Get to sit by the fireplace in the lobby and feel super bougie while sipping a latte and noshing on goodies. Or take it to go, for your morning Banff adventures. Also, had the option of buying Stoke juice/shots (BC company we discovered earlier on in our trip), which was great post hike. Read more

This is our new favourite spot in Banff! Pet friendly, the most delicious sausage roll my partner & I have ever eaten, amazing coffee, super kind staff, the list goes on. We went back several times b/c we loved it so much. We will be back everytime we go to ... Banff now! Read more

I now understand why some people said this place is the best. It is. The latte is very on point, pork and fennel sausage roll is heavenly. The view is great. Only thing is there is a long line, but the waiting time is short, turnover is pretty fast.
