Ordered Philly cheesesteak and brisket and cheddar subs (small). It took a long time for order but food was really good. Subs were warm oozing with meat and sauce. Loved the subs and would go again.
Was there last week for a quick bite. Very underwhelming, despite 4 staff behind the counter service was slow. Took about 25 mins to get the Subs at the table, 2 of the 4 staff were walking around aimlessly doing nothing. 1 staff at the cash, the other making all ... sandwiches. Great sandwiches, lovely staff. Very welcoming ambiance as you walk in with staff greeting you as you enter. The restaurant is well decorated the concept of a firehouse, very nice! The staff were very friendly as they politely welcomed me and my daughter, very respectful and helpful with fulfilling my ... order. They were so kind to make my daughter smile by giving her a firefighter hat, making it a special experience. The sandwiches come with a pickle spear which is nice. My favourite sandwiches are the engineer sub and the hook and ladder. I’m sure they all taste great as the subs are generously topped with toppings. The price is not cheap for a sub but you are paying more for a better sub sandwich comparing it to Subway and Mr. Sub. After coming to Firehouse subs, it’s rare and never likely that I’ll get a sub at subway and Mr. sub going forward. I recommend you try this place and come prepared with the Firehouse Subs App downloaded on your phone to gain points for eventual free items that you’ll earn. Read more
Okay! So may I just say this is the BEST sub I’ve ever had!! Hands down I will drive from Scarborough to Salem any day just for Firehouse Subs. My mom ordered the Medium (8”) Beef and cheddar brisket on whole wheat and I got the Large (12”) Club on a Sub ... on white. Both subs were loaded with meat and a decent amount of topping. I have not one thing to complain about & they gave us two pickles on the side (as requested). I could of ordered a sub to go home with. I haven’t been so happy with a meal in a very long time. My mom and I rounded up our totals and donated to the “Public safety organization” which was evidently posted / displayed in the store. I asked one of the reps in the store About the organization and he was very knowledgable. Thank you firehouse subs for an amazing lunch. We will surely be back- And very soon! P.s.
