Applebee’s Grill + Bar - Ajax, Ontario

Our first time trying Applebee's and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, and the service was great. We can't wait to come back and try some more delicious menu items.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday at 11:30am for lunch. The hostess seated us in a booth. The booths are huge and seats 6. There is a tv overlooking each booth. And the bar is in the middle of the restaurant. We were the third and fourth person in ... there. The server took our order and we ordered a peach and a mango iced tea. They were refreshing and sweet. We also ordered a Homestyle chicken bowl $23.99 and a bourbon street chicken and shrimp for $25.99. The home style chicken bowl came with mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy and chicken strips with onion rings on top. The bourbon street chicken came sizzling on a grill with a big scoop of mashed potatoes. The shrimp were small but the meal was quite flavourful and delicious according to my husband. We did not stay for dinner as some of our party could not make it. We had a drink and left. Our server was very understanding, but I think she was disappointed that we did not stay. Will definitely go back and have dinner here as it is ... one of our favourite restaurants. Read more

Was very disappointed 😞 the waitress was not good both of us ordered water, she only brought one, son orded cheese bacon burger with extra bacon and lattice fries, and regular fries came cold, burgers had no taste was bland . I had fish chips, chip soggy cold ... fish, and luke warm. The server did not come by and had to walk to the bar to complain. Did replace fries and heated the fish. Bland, no flavor. The pork dry ribs were really good, hot fresh. Would not go again for 74 dollars with water and a non alcoholic beer. It was not busy 2:30 pm in the afternoon. Stopped in for a bite to eat after visiting family at hospital and nursing home with my mom. We got wings, artichoke and spinach dip and some waffle fries. Wings very taste and meaty.
