They are incredibly rich and delicious, yet not overwhelming in sweetness, which I think is due the cream cheese based frosting instead of sugar. Love this spot for sweet treats! Don’t see a cupcake there? No problem, they will make what you are looking for. A few years back they made a speciality “stampede” cupcake. I was a mini pancake cupcake, drizzled with maple syrup and teeny tiny slice of ... butter on top of the icing. Wow! It was delicious. I have purchased pies, cakes and macaroons from them and they never disappoint. My husband ordered me a birthday cake and reiterated to them that I do not like sugary icing. They nailed the icing! I was craving for dessert and stumbled upon this bakery. I can sincerely say they have the best cupcake I have ever had around Calgary.
