This place is seriously amazing, A hidden gem for sure! From the samosas to the butter chicken to the homemade Naan bread. If you have not tried this place, you need too! Definitely will come again. Also they give big portions so come hungry!

As a review mentions below, this is not your traditional tasting Indian food. I only tried the vindaloo so far, and I did not like this restaurant's version. Went in last night with my husband and in laws after they mentioned Indian food a few times. First time trying a place in Airdrie since moving here. We have definitely found our new place! We dined in and it was SO good. They told us that it would be ... approximately 30-40 minute wait for food but we didn’t mind and it definitely didn’t take that long. Everything was SO good. Their basmati rice is delicious and so nice and fluffy- may be one of the best ones we have ever had. I’ve never seen my MIL eat so much rice, she even asked how they prep it and which brand they buy. Service was so friendly and awesome. The garlic naan was also so fluffy and filling and yummy. All the dishes we got were fantastic! Can’t wait to go back! We can’t eat too spicy and they definitely accommodate us so well. We had a wide selection of dishes... coconut chicken curry... butter chicken... lamb korma... beef curry and curried veggies with naan and rice of course. Every dish had incredible intense flavours which were all distinctly unique from each other. We took it home and it was ready promptly at estimated ... time from when I placed the order. All dishes were generous in size and reasonably priced. A must try if you enjoy good food with Indian flavours that are slightly spicy. Yummm. Have a delivery service as well. Read more

We have been going to the Tandoori Hut since it opened. I can finally say that I have found fantastic Indian food, this side of the Atlantic! The portions are great, the chicken comes in proper big chunks, the lamb is beautifully tender and everything is flavourful. The owner is super friendly ... and if like most of us Brits, you want something other than butter chicken, just ask, they can make all the curries we are used to.
