Swiss Chalet - Airdrie, Alberta

Been meaning to write this review for a while because this restaurant was absolutely so kind and gracious to us. We did NOT eat here, but we were passing through to Banff when our new baby needed to be changed... and a new outfit (if you know what I mean). ... They let us use their washroom even though we weren't customers - we were stressed out new parents. The food was excellent, perfectly done and beautifully served. The restaurant is clean and inviting, amd the staff is very friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised when we met Judy the manager here. He was so helpful and understanding when it comes to preparing gluten free food for our celiac daughter. Swiss chalet for me is absolutely classic. My parents took me here after church as a child all the time. As an adult, this was the place I took my wife on our first date. Staff are always friendly and food comes out quickly. Servers are fairly attentive and the food is usually hot but I find the portion sizes for the Chicken have seemed to get a bit smaller. Likely not just a thing with this location. Overall we usually leave fairly happy with out experience.
