It’s NYE and were all thinking about our plans for tonight! Have you ever considered thinking about what to do for breakfast on New Years morning? It is a Holiday so most of us have the day off. .

We all hate having to get up early on New Years morning, so its safe to say you wont make it to Mcdonalds by 11am for a Breakfast Sandwich. So here are your best bets for those of you getting up after 11 but still want Breakfast/Brunch!

Abigail’s Party

Abigail’s makes it onto my favourites list for three reasons – a creative menu, cozy ambience and friendly staff. Although I know this spot is popular with the neighbourhood locals, I think Abigail’s may be overlooked by others as a breakfast destination. Their loss. I recommend the “California Benedict” See Menu

Jethro’s Fine Grub

The portions are huge and the prices are low. With options such as chicken fried steak, pulled pork omelettes, corned beef hash, huevos rancheros, 4 kinds of french toast and 7 kinds of pancakes! If I were you I would hit this before the owners decide there losing money!!

Café  Crepe

Café Crepe is always a good choice, whether your looking to grab and go or sit down they have something for everyone. And hey they serve cheap Alcohol so why not pick up where you left off the night before?

The Red Wagon

The menu items are very well put together – classic dishes with modern elements. I wasn’t able to try everything but I chose the Pulled Pork Benny , which was amazing. The Pulled Pork Pancakes with Jack Daniels maple syrup also looked very good, and the Crisp Pork Belly with salsa verde and hollandaise was something I was eyeing down. I think its safe to say I like Pork! Menu
2296 East Hastings Street
Breakfast hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Beachside Forno

The Menu has a few highlights, I’m always up for a non-traditional take on a benny, and my Roasted Wild Mushroom Benny was just that. But I think they’ve really hit their sweet spot with their Breakfast Pizza concoctions. Today’s special was chorizo, provolone, topped with an herb egg scramble is also a great dish.
